The lightning-fast Bugatti Brick was trained throughout her career by Timo Nurmos and belonged to the absolute top of her generation – a finalist in both the Oaks and the Derby Fillies. Her greatest achievement came in the Stosprintern final, where she finished second behind Caddie Lisieux with a time of 1.10.7ak.
She is now in foal to Hohneck – a son of Royal Dream out of a Ready Cash dam line – who has impressed every time he has raced in Sweden. Who could forget his performance in the Elitloppet?
Her start as a broodmare has been challenging for us. Her offspring have had some bad luck, and the major successes have unfortunately been delayed:
I.D. Hellofagirl (2021 – Readly Express) underwent surgery for bone chips as a two-year-old and has had a slow start, but made a strong impression on Tommy Karlstedt in her latest outing.
I.D. Ionnes (2022 – Bold Eagle) suffered a fracture in the coffin bone of her left hind leg and had to rest in her box for two months this spring.
I.D. Jaiyana (2023 – Calgary Games) is trained by Thomas Dalborg and looks to be a powerful and promising filly.
Selling in foal to Elitloppet winner Hohneck (Royal Dream son out of a Ready Cash dam line) – a stallion with an outstanding record.
