On the racetrack, Pretender won, among other races, the New Jersey Classic and the New Jersey Sire Stakes, finished second in the Canadian Trot, and third in the Valley Victory, Goodtimes and Zweig Memorial. This Muscle Hill son retires to stud with eleven victories and nearly 10 million SEK (USD 873,604) in earnings.

His dam Maven won the Breeders Crown, Armbro Flight and Allerage Farm. During her European campaign, she reached two Elitloppet finals, finished fifth in the Prix de France, and won races such as Pixies Lopp and Viola Silas Lopp. Maven earned over USD 2 million and broke two world records. Her record on a 1,000-meter track – 1.09.5 as a four-year-old mare – still stands!
