Selected Sales and Arqana Trot are proud to announce the creation of the Select European Yearling Sale.
Taking place on Tuesday August 27, the sale will offer buyers the opportunity to acquire the cream of European and international bloodstock and will kick off a big week of French trotting yearling sales from August 28 to 30.
Jens Hansen, the founder of Selected Sales has had the idea of an international high class yearling sale for a while and it seemed logical to partner with Arqana Trot, who have alos had these ambitions, to profit from their unique setting, first-rate facilities and together create this sale destined to become known for offering the best of Europe’s bloodstock.
The sale will offer around 70 lots, with priority given to yearlings with outstanding physiques and sought-after pedigrees (the best stallions and a high proportion of American maternal lines). All lots will be inspected at their breeding farms and present at the sale with a veterinary file that can be consulted via the repository tool already used for French trotting yearling sales.
Pre-registration is already underway.
We’re aiming to establish a select standardbred yearling sale in Deauville which aims to be the number one sale in Europe for vendors and buyers alike. The sale will become the undisputed category leader attracting the highest value yearlings and top purchasers from around the world. It will also deliver a unique customer experience for buyers.
We are looking to encourage interest from all over the world and put together an unforgettable event. Together with Arqana Trot we will be running a widespread communication campaign and deploying significant resources to welcome a large international clientele in style.
