Bred by legendary French horseman Jean-Pierre Dubois, Ecurie D represents a unique blend of the finest European and American bloodlines.
A true international star, Ecurie D established himself among the very best trotters in Europe before crossing the Atlantic, where he continued his remarkable career at the highest level.
One of the fastest trotters ever produced, Ecurie D set a world record of 1:49.1 in the Cutler Memorial and became the first horse in 19 years to win two consecutive Breeders’ Crown Open Trot Finals. He concluded his racing career with victory in the TVG Open at The Meadowlands, cementing his status as one of the great international trotters of his generation.
His first crop is already making an impact
Ecurie D’s oldest North American offspring are now 2-year-olds in 2026, and his first crop is already producing winners and high-level performers.
- LIFETIME DREAMER – winner of the $180,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Platinum Final, stopping the clock in a sensational 1:51.1, a world-record performance for a 2-year-old trotter in 2026. He has already earned $110,000.
- INTERNAL DIALOG – a 2-year-old winner who has already shown a sharp turn of speed, winning in 2:01.1 at Pocono.
- DANDELION WINE – another first-crop winner for Ecurie D, successful in 1:59.4 at Pocono.
His first crop is therefore already demonstrating the speed, athleticism and competitiveness expected from a stallion of Ecurie D’s calibre.
All rights and obligations begin with the 2027 breeding season.
This share represents 1/120th ownership interest in the stallion and is NOT SUBJECT to the right of first refusal from the syndicate.
This share’s breeding right can be used in North America or Europe 2027 breeding in Ecurie D (DK).
Booking fees can vary and are to be paid by the buyer.
Trotting stallion Ecurie D DK will have a new home north of the border starting in the 2027 breeding season. He’ll be at Seelster Farm. 2027 Stud Fee: $7,500 CAD
